Booting Birmingham Cockroaches Off The MenuMay 9, 2016
You’ll more than likely all have heard about the recent scandal that fell upon a well known chicken fast food chain last month. Any compromises in hygiene can severely damage any brand that deals with food. And of course, being such a large global brand means that it wasn’t the first time it had been caught letting it’s standards slip when earlier, a cockroach was found feasting on a fry in one of it’s outlets.
The sad fact of the matter is, cockroaches, like all living creatures, need to eat, and like many pests they hone in on areas where food is prepared, discarded, dropped and in general abundance. But what sets cockroach infestations apart from other pest infestations is how resilient these creatures are and the plethora of diseases they are known to carry which include; different forms of gastroenteritis that will leave victims with diarrhea and dysentery, salmonella, staphylococcus and streptococcus. But suffice to say, you don’t want them anywhere near your food preparation and serving areas. No way near!
If you’re a Wolverhampton, Burton or Birmingham food business and want to be sure that cockroaches are not lurking around your business, and are not preparing to jump into dishes, dustbins, store rooms and cupboards, speak to the Birmingham cockroach infestation experts, Midland Pest Control now (click here).
