Our flykiller unit is noted to be the swiftest, safest and widely effective flykiller method. The conclusion surrounding this technique has shown that our flykiller technique has been largely successful wherever used.
Flykiller units are supplied in a plastic casing or a grounded metal protective grill to prevent human electrocution. A fluorescent light is mounted in the middle of the flykiller unit - often designed to emit ultraviolet light which is excellent at attracting flies. This is encased by a fine wire coat. The space in-between the adjacent mesh is found to be no bigger than 2 millimetres. Electric current from a mains circuit creates about 2,000 volts, more than enough power needed to produce an effective humane execution of the fly that connects the small crossed wires. This power is not strong enough to cross the air gap between the wires further increasing its safety.
